Pay by credit card in your own currency. Best Rate of Exchange applies or we will refund you 333% of the difference between the price calculated using the Monex rate of exchange used to convert the transaction and that calculated using the rate of exchange offered by your issuing bank on the same day.

By choosing to pay your bill by credit card in your home currency, you have the certainty of knowing the exact value of your purchase at the point of sale.

 

The exchange rates offered by Monex are competitive and comparable with those used by VISA and MasterCard. We aim to provide the best rate at all times. If you obtain a better exchange rate on another transaction on the same day from your card issuer, we will refund you 333% of the difference between the price calculated using the Monex rate of exchange used to convert the transaction and that calculated using the rate of exchange offered by your issuing bank on the same day.

Best Rate Guarantee Terms and Conditions

This offer is available at participating locations throughout Europe and Asia. Payment card transactions will be converted to the currency of the issuing bank at point of sale by MONEX’ DCC service using a rate of exchange that is equivalent to or better than that offered by the cardholder's issuing bank, including any international fees applied by cardholder's card issuer. In the unlikely event that a cardholder can show they were disadvantaged by choosing to have their transaction converted at Point of Sale using a MONEX rate of exchange, MONEX will, subject to these terms and conditions, refund the cardholder 333% of the difference between the price calculated using the Monex rate of exchange used to convert the transaction and that calculated using the rate of exchange offered by the cardholders issuing bank on the same day.

 

 

Cardholders wishing to make a claim must:

  1. Contact our helpdesk for a claim form. Visit our website www.MONEXfs.com to obtain a claim form and for a copy of our terms and conditions.
  2. Complete the claim form as directed, attaching all required evidence, and return the form to MONEX within 180 days of the card transaction to which the claim relates.

A cardholder must comply with these Terms and Conditions in order to make a claim. It is understood that any claim or dispute in connection with MONEX’ Best Rate Guarantee offering does not provide a cardholder with the right to initiate a chargeback in relation to a card transaction. It is further understood that MONEX's determination regarding validity of a claim is final. MONEX is not responsible for, nor shall it be bound by, any statements or representations regarding the MONEX Best Rate Guarantee offering made by any third party. Some credit card issuers may charge a fee for card usage overseas irrespective of the currency in which the card is charged. MONEX’s Best Rate Guarantee offering does not cover such fees. The MONEX Best Rate Guarantee offering may be withdrawn at any time.

 

The Terms and Conditions of the MONEX Best Rate Guarantee program are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Republic of Ireland and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
