Security Compliance – PCI DSS
PCI DSS is the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. It was developed by the major credit card companies as a guideline to help organizations that process card payments prevent credit card fraud, hacking and various other security vulnerabilities and threats. Any company processing, storing, or transmitting payment card data must be PCI DSS compliant or risk losing their ability to process credit card payments.
Monex has worked closely with Trustwave a Payment Card Industry Data security standard assessor for several years now and has contracted Trustwave to audit Monex on a yearly basis against the PCI DSS standard and ensure Monex meets all security requirements set out in this standard.
Monex was the first Dynamic Currency Conversion service provider to achieve PCI certification in Europe and all Monex sites that currently process credit card data are presently PCI Certified. All the proposed solutions offered are incorporated in our data security strategy and will be required to be assessed in accordance with PCI DSS.
