The Dynamic Currency Service (DCS) is a key solution in delivering point of sale currency conversion in both card present and card not present environments.
Connection
The DCS supports a number of client connection mechanisms.
These include:
• Web Services across a VPN
• TCP/IP across a VPN
• Web Services via HTTPS
These mechanisms provide significant flexibility in defining the business solution.

Messaging
The DCS supports a vast array of message formats.
These include:
• ISO-8583 messaging
• Strongly typed WSDL messaging
The ISO-8583 messaging is used by many banking and financial institutions for interaction between third parties.
Web messages are commonly used where the third party “owns” the client software and can control the messaging. Normally, web messaging can be implemented more quickly.
