Dynamic Currency Service (DCS)

The Dynamic Currency Service (DCS) is a key solution in delivering POS currency conversion in both card present & card not present environments.

Our in-house developed Dynamic Conversion Service (DCS) enables and supports acquirers and their merchant portfolio to deliver seamless, revenue enhancing DCC for POS, eCommerce and ATM.

Our technology uses fundamental Microsoft.NET Technologies, including ASP.Net web services, XML technologies and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).

Applications are written in Microsoft C#.NET and developed to support distributed and N-Tiered architecture.

DCS supports a selection of significantly flexible client connection options to complement your system requirements. Options include:

  • Web Services across a VPN
  • TCP/IP across a VPN
  • Web Services via HTTPS

These mechanisms provide significant flexibility in defining the business solution. We advise on the connection mechanism to complement your solution requirements.

The DCS supports a vast array of message formats and can be readily adapted to accept these formats including ISO-8583 messaging and strongly typed WSDL messaging.

The ISO-8583 messaging is used by many banking and financial institutions for interaction between third parties.

Web messages are commonly used where the third party “owns” the client software and can control the messaging. Normally, web messaging can be implemented more quickly.
